Wico Valk ist eigentlich Bauingenieur in Delft / Niederlande, hat aber 2 Schriften konstruiert und nennt seine Foundry Archiness. Eine der beiden Schriften ist die ArchiLogo, vermutlich hat er damit die Idee des Logos seines Büros zur kompletten Schrift ausgebaut.
Gut vorstellen kann ich sie mir gelasert oder geprägt auf Plaketten oder als Sprühschablone zur Kennzeichnung.
Die Basisversion ist kostenlos, enthält keine Umlaute, Währungssymbole sind aber dabei, die komplette Pro-Version kostet 11 Euro.

Peinlich, peinlich … Normalerweise achte ich sehr darauf vor allem die Namen richtig zu schreiben.
Glückwunsch zum 1000. Download der Schrift und danke für die Erklärung des Logos, das Haus an sich habe ich schon erkannt, das Flachdach jedoch nicht.

Good to see a mention of my font on your website. Thank you very much! You are right in your assumption that the idea of the ArchiLogo font comes from my Archistudio office logo. This logo on the other hand came from my design for a minimalistic symbol of a modern house: there’s a door, a window and a flat roof!
When I noticed the clear A in the symbol I tried the same principle with other characters. It was a joy to see the font developing. I still like the indirectness and the spatial quality of the font. The free version has been downloaded exactly 1.000 times from MyFonts now.
My other fonts, ArchiType and ArchiType Rounded, are two quite usable ‘normal’ fonts, have similar proportions and a similar signature.
